FALMOUTH – On a frigid Saturday night on the Falmouth High turf, the Windham boys soccer team capped their amazing 2011 season with a 3-1 victory over the Messalonskee Eagles in the Class A state final. It was Windham’s first ever state title for boys soccer.

Junior Marc Reynolds scored two goals and senior co-captain Robbie Lentine had a header for the offense. The other senior co-captain, goalkeeper Dana King, was nearly an impenetrable force, squashing many Messalonskee threats.
As King said after the game, “We’re making history at Windham High School.”

Windham wins its first Class A state soccer championship, 3-1,
