Selectmen meet Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6: 30 p.m., at the Durham Town Office. The codes enforcement officer is available Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 5-7 p.m.

Youth Baseball registration open
Registration for Durham Youth Baseball is now open through April 5. The program is for ages 4-13 (as of April 30) in Durham, Freeport and Pownal. Signups and payment can be made on the website at www.durhambaseball.com, or print out a form for in-person signups will be held on Wednesday, March 20 and Wednesday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Durham Community School Discovery Room.

Hand-to-hand? food drive March 9
On Saturday, March 9, on Main Street in Freeport, the line forms at the First Parish Church across from the Gap at 9:45 a.m. Participants are urged to join in with a bag of non-perishable food, personal care items or cleaning supplies. The line snakes down Main Street to the Freeport Community Services food pantry. Food also may be dropped off at in the lobbies of the Durham Community School, Mast Landing School or Morse Street School ahead of time.
Dinner followed ?by New Wine
The North Pownal United Methodist Church, 851 Lawrence Road, Pownal, is sponsoring a community supper Saturday, March 10, at 5 p.m., or which a donation will be accepted, with a concert by New Wine to follow. Admission is free. A free-will offering will be taken.
New Wine is a Christian band. Members include Mario Blais, bass guitar/vocals; David Chick, electric guitar/vocals; Roger Cusson, drums;Vickie O’Brien, acoustic guitar/vocals; Dick Waters, piano/guitar/vocals; Judy Cusson, sound engineering.

PTA seeking ?auction donations
The Durham PTA’s fourth annual auction is April 27. The PTA uses the money raised to provide field trips, enrichment programs and many teacher-requested educational tools for students.

Food pantry
The Lisbon Area Christian Outreach’s food pantry and clothing bank hours are: Wednesday: 6 p.m.-8 p.m., Thursday: 10 a.m. to noon and Saturday: 8 a.m.-10 a.m. LACO serves the communities of Bowdoin, Durham and Lisbon. The website is www.lacopantry.org.
The physical address for food and clothing is the Marion T. Morse Community Center, enter from the Berry Avenue side behind the Lisbon United Methodist Church. The clothing bank cannot accept furniture, appliances, etc., as they do not have the room to store them. For more, call Debbie at 240-1637.
Dog licenses overdue
All dog licenses expired on Dec. 31, and a late fee of $25 per dog now is applied to the regular fee. The price for a spayed or neutered dog is $6 and for an unaltered dog is $11. You may license your dog by coming in to the Town Office during business hours or mail your information to: Shannon Plourde, Durham Town Clerk, C/O town of Durham, 630 Hallowell Road, Durham, Maine 04222.
Include the dog’s rabies certificate, a self-addressed stamped envelope with a check (make checks payable to the town of Durham). lourde will mail out the new tag and return all the paperwork. Those with questions can call Plourde at 353-2561, ext. 11.
