Beacon Hospice will be offering an evening Bereavement Support Group on six consecutive Tuesdays, from Sept.19-Oct. 17.

All sessions are from 6-7:30 p.m., at the Beacon Hospice South Portland office, 54 Atlantic Place. The group will be limited to eight participants, and there is no fee.

Adults who have experienced the death of a loved one will have the opportunity to share and learn with other group members. The group will be facilitated by Heather Thompson, bereavement coordinator at Beacon Hospice. The sessions are intended to provide a safe environment for participants to express sadness and pain and begin to find hope and healing.
