The Windham Historical Society’s main museum on Windham Center Road and The Old Grocery Museum at the corner of Route 202 and Windham Center Road will both be open to the public Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning in June.

The main museum will also be open on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Tuesday evenings from 6-8 p.m. Volunteers will be available to provide tours and assist visitors.

The Society is a nonprofit educational organization and has many displays of Windham’s history as well as books, maps, commemorative coins, keychains, coverlets and other historical items for sale. The ancient horse-drawn town hearse is on display at the Old Grocery. Information on Windham’s cemeteries and old families is readily available as well as genealogical information for those doing research.
