Rapolla had a monster game in the Class A girls quarterfinals at
the Portland Expo on Monday afternoon, outscoring the entire
Windham team 34-33 as the No. 3 Rams eliminated the No. 6 Eagles
54-33.

“font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;”>Gorham will now face No.
2 McAuley, which knocked off No. 7 South Portland 52-27 at the Expo
Monday. The Rams and the Lions will square off in a Class A
semifinal at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Friday at 7:30
p.m.

“font-family: Calibri; font-size: small;”>Rapolla came out on fire
in this one, scoring 13 first-quarter points as the Rams opened a
13-1 lead on Windham. The Eagles came back, thanks to 11 first-half
points from Meghan Gribbin, cutting the lead to as few as five
until the Rams went into the break with a 30-21 lead.

second-quarter points, Rapolla erased any doubts in the third,
hitting three 3s, and scoring 14 points to put the game
