The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber Of Commerce kicked off a new year of “Chamber After Hours” events with a winter carnival After Hours hosted by various businesses at 55 Main St. in Bridgton. Kathleen of Bridgton; Four Winds Massage Therapy and Saco Bay Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy were the hosts of the open house Thursday, Jan 24. This was a chance to stop in, network with friends and enjoy the great food spread that was on hand.

Each host also took time to welcome the audience and to give tours of their facilities. The Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber Of Commerce would like to thank our hosts and businesses who donated door prizes for making the initial 2008 After Hours an enjoyable night. After Hours are open to the public with no admission charge, a great way to learn more about your local businesses and they are fun.

We were pleased to have on hand door prize sponsors: Hair Studio of Bridgton; Carousel Horse Farm LLC; Off the Wall; Picture Chocolate and Time4Pictures. We would like to invite all our local citizens to the next After Hours set for Feb. 28 in Bridgton with the Taoist Tai Chi Society at 5 p.m. Also join us on Feb. 1 from noon to 2 p.m. at the location of Kathy Story, PA’s new physical location 316 Portland Road-across from Sandy Creek for an open house and ribbon cutting. Visit Kathy’s new location and sample foods, win door prizes. It is a busy time in the Lakes
