Two of the three suspects in a home robbery and assault in April have been apprehended by Buxton police. The department is seeking the public’s help to locate a third suspect.
According to Buxton Police Chief Michael Grovo, on Friday, April 11, at 9:15 p.m. the Buxton Police Department received a call of a subject that had been attacked in her home. Upon arrival it was learned that the female homeowner had been assaulted, tied up and left on the floor. The three suspects (two males and one female) left after taking some money.
On Thursday, May 15, the department arrested two of the three suspects and have a warrant for the third suspect.
The first suspect is Stacy Day, 35, of Buxton. She was arrested Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on charges of class A robbery and class B aggravated assault.
Suspect No. 2 is Gregory Hoar, 29, of Gorham, who was arrested Thursday at 8:40 p.m. on the same charges as Day.
Both Day and Hoar are being held at the York County Jail on $20,000 cash bail each.
The third suspect, identified as Michael C. Crockett Jr., 30, of Buxton, is still wanted. Buxton police hold an active warrant for Crockett for robbery and aggravated assault.
