Monday, Aug. 20

Theft – A Pinewood Circle resident reported the theft of a duffle bag from his vehicle by a local towing company. Police determined that the car had been towed when the man was picked up for operating under the influence and that there was no duffle bag in it when it was searched before towing.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

Theft – A Biddeford detective contacted Cabela’s after seeing two Leupold rangefinder binoculars on a suspicious eBay listing. The store checked its inventory and determined that two such items had disappeared from stock sometime since Aug. 15.

Thursday, Aug. 23

Theft – At 10:04 a.m. managers at the Walmart on Gallery Boulevard reported that during daily accounting four counterfeit $20 bills were found, all having the same serial number. It was undetermined when the money was collected.

Indecent conduct – At 11:21 a.m., a Foxcroft Drive resident reported stepping out of his shower to find a man wearing a white T-shirt peeping at him through the window. Later when walking a dog he reportedly saw the man in the doorway of an apartment of the building, this time wearing nothing at all. The same man was said to have later crossed a back porch, still naked but this time carrying a towel. Police have since identified the man and will request a court summons.

Friday, Aug. 24

Burglary – At 11:13 a.m. a property manager reported that the furnace and all appliances had been taken from a foreclosed home on County Road.

Tuesday, Aug. 21

Alberto A. Gonzalez, 32, of Portland, on Mussey Road at 12:38 p.m., on a warrant for failure to appear in court.

Wednesday, Aug. 22

Charles W. Jones, 61, of Scarborough, on Kerryman Circle at 9:19 p.m., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (with one prior conviction in the last 10 years).

Thursday, Aug. 23

Matthew H. Lambert, 28, of Scarborough, on Route 1 at 1:46 a.m., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (with one prior conviction in the last 10 years) and violating conditions of release.

Reginald J. Leeman, 39, of Windham, on Holmes Road at 10:27 p.m., on a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
