This is to recommend the candidacy of Lindsay Sterling for the RSU 5 School Board.

Lindsay is the mother of two elementary-aged children. She has already done great educational service for Freeport as an in-school volunteer and as a tireless advocate for the facilities needs of the district.

Lindsay wants to help give the educators of Freeport “new wings.” She is concerned that many families in Freeport have chosen to educate their children outside the district. If elected, Lindsay will ask the superintendent to help her meet with parents, students, teachers and administrators to learn first-hand about the strengths and needs of the district. What a wonderful approach to leading for Freeport.
