• Recreation Senior Citizen Subcommittee continues to hold monthly meetings (usually on the last Monday of each month unless a change is needed) at 10 a.m. at the Standish Municipal Center. This group has grown over the past few months, and they are taking a very active role in improving the opportunities available to our senior population. • Active Senior Citizens of Standish: Meet second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at the Steep Falls Fire Barn on Boundary Road. FMI or for luncheon reservations contact Alvida Fogg at 642-4929 or June Frost at 727-6215.

• Book Club at Steep Falls Library is held at 11 a.m. on the second Wednesday each month. Please bring your own brown-bag lunch. FMI 675-3147.

• Meal Sites are at the Steep Falls Fire Barn on the second and fourth Wednesdays. Reservations for meals must be made before 9:30 a.m on the Monday before each meeting. FMI contact Alvida Fogg at 642-4929 or June Frost at 727-6215. Meals: $3.

• Seniors Wednesday Brunch is a community project sponsored by the Sebago Lake Congregational Church (Route 35 at Sebago Lake Village). The Brunches are the first Wednesday of the month from 9:30-11 a.m. FMI contact John Murphy at 839-6002. Meals: $4 donation.

• Friday Luncheons sponsored by Southern Maine Agency on Aging. Meets third Friday of each month at Sebago Lake Congregational Church. Friday Luncheons are the first Friday of the month at 11 a.m. FMI call 1-800-400-6325. Meals: $4.
