Outlook: Both the Merriconeag boys and girls squads look to build on last year. Adams sees particular strength in the boys, as they graduated just one senior in June, but calls the whole team “a group of extremely dedicated, hardworking runners.” Over half the school is, in fact, represented on the cross-country team, including several sets of siblings, which Adams calls a “huge benefit, both in training and team cohesion.”
