SOUTH PORTLAND – On Friday, Aug. 4, 5-9 p.m., the South Portland Police Department will hold a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser at the Applebee’s off Running Hill Road. All the tips received will benefit the Special Olympics of Maine. Bring the whole family and come out for a great meal and great service. It brings new meaning to the phrase, “To Protect & Serve.”
