May 4, 5: Schoolhouse Arts Center at Sebago Lake presents its Spring Variety Show. This entertaining show, directed by Michael Hjort, will feature local talent and a variety of acts. Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 4, and Saturday, May 5, at the Schoolhouse Arts Center. Admission is $8 for students and seniors and $10 for adults. Tickets will be available at the door. Schoolhouse Arts Center is located on Route 114 just north of the intersection of Route 114 and Route 35 in Sebago Lake Village. May 5: The Women’s Guild of the North Windham Union Church will be sponsoring a Mother-Daughter Banquet at 5:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall to benefit the church’s scholarship fund. Homemade savory chicken puffs with all the fixin’s, entertainment and prizes will be available. Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for ages 3-10. Younger than 3 are free. May 7: SAD 6 will hold a public hearing and informational meeting regarding the issuance of bonds or notes of the district for school construction purposes on Monday, May 7 at 7 p.m. in the Bonny Eagle Middle School cafeteria.

June 23: Windham Summerfest takes place on the ground of the Windham High School. Rain date is June 24. Parade participants needed. Food and game booths available for organizations, churches or businesses. Special events include a parade at 9 a.m., frog jumping contest, live band concerts, bicycle rodeo, helicopter rides, games and activities all day, craft fair, softball game with Windham Police vs. Windham Fire, skate park competition, soccer tournament, and a large fireworks display at dusk.
