Dorcas thanks community
Sharon House, spokeswoman for the Dorcas Society of Hollis and Buxton, recently thanked the community for success of its annual fair last month.
“ The proceeds of this fair enable our organization to care for the Bar Mills Parish House, support the libraries, churches and other organizations in our area and provide a scholarship for a student at Bonny Eagle High School each year,” House said in a statement.
“We would like to express our gratitude to all the dedicated workers at the fair, and especially the following businesses that contributed generously to our community raffle table: Brewster Mansion, Buxton Antiques Emporium, Linda Caouette, Carl Guilbrand eyecare, Joy Valley Woodworks, Maine Street Florist, Maine Street Cutters, Mustard House, Debbie and Vinny Neilson, Tievy Manuel, New Leaf Spa, Nicely’s and Company Salon, Patty’s Florist, Plummers Hardware and Grocery, Reynolds Sports, Saco River Theater, and Snells Family Farm.”
“Thank you again to all the people of Buxton and Hollis for your support and to all the crafters who made the day spectacular. We hope to see you all next year,” House said.
