Gorham family reunites

A family reunion for the Larrivee, Hoyt and Nugent families was held on Sept. 17 at White Rock Community Club in Gorham.

Mary Nugent Cummings of Westbrook and Joe Nugent of Gorham organized the reunion, attended by about 42 family members.

Cummings said the guests of honor were Vera Larrivee and her daughters Jeanne, Sue and Michelle of California, who had never met some of their cousins. Out-of-state family members were from Florida, Connecticut, Ohio, Texas and Colorado. Maine family members were from Casco, Hollis, Cornish, Windham and Gray, besides Gorham.

“Everyone mingled and had a wonderful time getting acquainted,” Mary Cummings said.
