“Ejection Fraction and Why Is It An Important Number To Know,” is the topic for June’s monthly Mended Hearts meeting. Laurie Winslow, therapy specialist with Medtronic, will discuss the topic on Thursday, June 7, at 7 p.m., at the Maine Medical Center Scarborough campus, located at the Learning Resource Center at 100 Campus Drive.

Mended Hearts meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month for heart-event survivors, family and anyone interested in staying heart healthy. Mended Hearts is a national, nonprofit organization, affiliated with the American Heart Association, whose mission is to inspire hope in heart disease patients and their families.
