In a front page story last week on town spending on projects that exceeded the limit for spending without voter approval (“Fuzzy math,” Sept. 14), the story incorrectly reported on a vote to raise the limit last year. The Town Council voted against raising the limit to $700,000 last year. In 2000, a town vote lowered the amount from $700,000 to $400,000.
