A school bus in Standish made contact with a Mercury Sable during Tuesday’s morning snowstorm near Bonny Eagle High School. No injuries were reported.
Officer Joe Schnupp said no children were on the bus at the time. At 7:15 a.m. the front of the left side of each vehicle touched. Schnupp, who was assigned to Bonny Eagle High School at the time of the crash, said the car was towed but the bus was driven away. He was not aware of which driver caused the accident.
Also that morning, icy conditions caused a Standish cruiser to slide off the road. Lt. Tom Williams said the car did not hit anything but got stuck in the snow.
