Do we need a new school bus this year? This 1928 school bus was driven on all the dirt roads in Windham, picking up school kids, 80 years ago. There were no cameras to catch mischief makers (those who misbehaved got to walk home, no questions asked) and if a youngster lived within a mile of school, they were called “the walkers” for the obvious reason.
