Northeast Bank has announced the hiring of Debora Redmond as assistant vice president and loan production manager.

Based at the bank’s Lewiston Gateway headquarters, Redmond will manage the underwriting, examination and approval of all consumer and residential loans.

“Over the last year we have seen a strong increase in the number of customers coming to us who want to work with an established, experienced lender like Northeast,” said Jim Delamater, bank president and corporate executive officer. “Bringing an experienced loan underwriter like Deb Redmond on board will not only ensure the quality of those loans, but the best long-term results for our customers as well.”

Redmond joins Northeast with over 22 years of loan production and banking experience. She has been recognized by the Federal Housing Authority as an FHA direct endorsed underwriter, as well as by the Veteran’s Authority as a designated staff appraisal reviewer.

A resident of Gray, Redmond is also active as a member of the state

executive board for the International Order of Rainbow for Girls youth organization.
