Construction of Naples’ new salt/sand shed, behind the Naples Fire Station, is complete. Aside from electrical wiring and paving of the interior and access road, the salt/sand shed is ready to be stocked, but the town will hold off using the shed to store their yearly 6,000 yards of salt/sand until next year. The town may construct a small shed, next to the structure, where Naples residents can pick up salt/sand mixture for their private residences. The new salt/sand shed, built by local contractor Henry Turcotte, came in under budget at roughly $500,000. Staff photo by Douglas Wright
