Maine Library Week

The week beginning Jan. 7 is designated as Maine Library Week. What a perfect time to pick up that book you’ve been planning to read, or a book on tape or CD to listen to while driving or walking. How about checking out the music CDs for enjoyable listening. There are so many choices and such fun choosing.

The book group has chosen the book, “The Devil in the White City,” by Erik Larson for discussion this month. The meeting will take place on Jan. 31, at 7 p.m. at the Raymond Village Library. All interested persons are invited to attend.

In case of inclement weather, if there is no school there will be no story time, although the library may still be open. The best thing is to call ahead to be sure.
