Army Warrant Officer 1 Brian E. Libby has returned to the U.S. after a deployment to Afghanistan to support the mission of Operation Enduring Freedom.

Libby is a transportation mobility warrant officer assigned to the 10th Sustainment Brigade Troops Battalion, Fort Drum, Watertown, N.Y. He is the son of David W. Libby of Limington, and Wendy A. Brugger of San Diego, Calif.

His wife, Kim, is the daughter of Lawrence M. and Michael Burnette of Slidell, La.

The warrant officer is a 1989 graduate of Bonny Eagle High School.

Operation Enduring Freedom is the official name given to anti-terrorism military operations involving U.S. troops and allied coalition partners.
