Grandparents, aunts and uncles are raising grandchildren, nieces and nephews. They face complex legal issues. Family Connections is offering a free legal education program to help relatives learn about the legal system in regards to guardianship, adoption, child protective proceedings, and how to find good legal services. There will be a panel of attorneys providing information and answering questions. Childcare is available on site to people who pre-register. Space is limited.

The legal education program on Saturday, May 21, from 9:30 – 12:20 at the Southern Maine Agency on Aging, U.S. Route 1 in Scarborough.
