Board of Selectmen Chairwoman Jean Harmon and Selectman Bob Libby were both re-elected by Buxton voters Tuesday, keeping their seats for another three years.
Voters rejected Planning Board member and Buxton Public Works employee Keith Emery’s bid for one of the seats.
Harmon led the tally with 643 votes, followed by Libby with 617, and Emery with 431.
In a three-way race for two Planning Board seats, Caroline Segalla, who is completing her first, one-year term on the board lost out to newcomers David Savage and Emily Walsh. A longtime resident, Savage received 596 votes, and Walsh received 500. Segalla trailed with 419. Segalla’s term was up this year, with the other open seat being vacated by Barbara Elwell, who did not seek re-election.
Going into Tuesday’s vote there were no candidates for the two vacant director positions on the School Administrative District 6 board, but a write-in campaign has elected Hilda Lynch with 42 votes for a three-year term, and Larry Miller with 28 votes for a one-year term.
