Edwards, former Freeport High School principal, arranged a grant that gave the town of Freeport two Langlais paintings, one for the Freeport Performing Arts Center and one for the Freeport Community Center.Robbie Southall, a seventh-grader at Freeport Middle School, was among the many young artists from Regional School Unit 5 schools to create a work of art that was shown on Feb. 25 at the Freeport Performing Arts Center, when two Bernard Langlais paintings were unveiled.
