A Standish man, who police said apparently suffered a seizure, crashed into the old police station Tuesday morning.
Officer Bob Flood said Michael Horrigan, 55, of Standish, was driving from the Public Safety Building on Main Street toward Rite Aid at approximately 11:30 a.m. when he apparently had a seizure. Flood said witnesses told police Horrigan’s vehicle veered off the road and crossed the lawn of the old police station before going up the front steps and crashing into the door of the building.
EMS Director Ron Jones said Horrigan was taken to Mercy Hospital. No further information was available regarding his condition.
