The Westbrook American reported on Nov. 28, 1962, that Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bean, Lincoln Street, hosted seven people in addition to family members for a Thanksgiving dinner.

Mrs. Ralph Waterman, Portland, spent Thanksgiving with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Waterman, at their home in West Buxton.
