The Democratic primary on June 10 offers us the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to Washington D.C. Adam Cote, a candidate for the United States House of Representatives, will be a catalyst for the change we so desperately need to return the faith and trust in our government.
Adam Cote has a strong resume of real-life experience that has enabled him to have a profound understanding of the issues facing our country. He has served in Bosnia and Iraq, which gives him a unique perspective on how to achieve a balance between the desire to bring our troops home while at the same time ensuring that Iraq doesn’t become a civil war. Adam is also a staff judge for the Maine Army National Guard and is strongly commited to veterans’ issues.
Adam also has a through understanding of the issues facing us at home. His work as a lawyer at the Portland law firm of Pierce Atwood is focused on international energy related law and policy. His speciality is in the area of renewable energy, which will be vital to controlling future energy costs. He has a common-sense approach to the issues of education and health care.
I have recently had the pleasure to meet Adam this past weekend and was extremely impressed with his character and his dedication to the issues that face our nation. Adam is married with three children and resides in Portland. His mother was born and raised in Scarborough. Help elect Adam Cote to the U.S. Congress by voting for him on June 10 or anytime prior to then via absentee ballot at Town Hall.
