CUMBERLAND — Four people were transported to local hospitals after a car flipped over on the Maine Turnpike in Cumberland Sunday night.

A state police dispatcher said the car turned over in the southbound lane, just south of the Cumberland toll plaza.

No one appeared to have suffered life-threatening injuries.

The accident was reported around 6:15 p.m.
