PORTLAND — Ecomaine is accepting nominations for its “eco-Excellence Awards,” presented annually to residents who have made a difference by increasing environmental responsibility and sustainability in their communities.

Nominations, along with a brief description of the nominee’s green activities, must be received by ecomaine by Feb. 5. An awards luncheon is scheduled for March 16.
