NORTH BERWICK – Chandler Reagan scored two goals Thursday night to lead unbeaten Gorham to a 2-1 victory against Noble in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game.

Reagan scored on setups by Alex Owens and Spence Cowan for the Rams (11-0-2).

Brandon Vigneault scored from Jakey Martin for Noble (7-6). 

FALMOUTH 3, POLAND 0: J.P. White scored two goals, and Cooper Lycan had a goal and an assist as the Yachtsmen (8-2-2) handled the Knights (3-7-3) at Falmouth.

White put in a pass from Lycan and also converted a free kick. Lycan scored from Hugh Grygiel.

All three goals were in the second half.

Will D’Agostino made three saves for Falmouth. Zachary Lowe stopped seven shots for Poland. 

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 13, HIGHVIEW CHRISTIAN 2: Ethan Spaulding finished with four goals and four assists, Eric Pearson added two goals and two assists, and Byeong Jung had two goals and an assist to lead the Lions (6-7) past the Knights (0-9) at Portland.

David Davol and Eddie Daigneault added two goals each for Greater Portland Christian.

Abudureheman Aihemati and Jae Hwan Kim scored for Highview Christian. 

PORTLAND 3, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Josh Irving received Evan Caliendo’s pass across the box and half-volleyed the ball into the upper left corner to break a 2-2 tie with two minutes left as the Bulldogs (5-7-1) beat South Portland (6-3-3) in Portland.

Tim Rovnak and Haron Habibzai also scored for Portland. Robert Graff and Ahmed Suja answered for the Red Riots.

Chip Weber made six saves for Portland. Ben Burkey and Henry Curran combined for nine saves for South Portland. 

SCARBOROUGH 4, BIDDEFORD 0: Trevor Sparda had three goals and an assist for the Red Storm (11-0-2) against the Tigers (1-9-1) at Scarborough.

Austin Downing added a goal and two assists.

Josh McCauley stopped 14 shots for Biddeford. Pat Stanton and Sam Warren each had a save for Scarborough. 

WAYNFLETE 5, LAKE REGION 0: Mohammed Suja and Jack Cutler scored twice each for the Flyers (10-1-1) against Lake Region (1-11) at Portland.

Clancy Mitchell also scored.

Zander Majercik made two saves for the shutout. Pat Irish stopped 26 shots for the Lakers. 

DEERING 1, CHEVERUS 0: Stephen Ochan scored when a direct kick bounced around the box, off the post and into the net as visiting Deering (7-3-3) beat the Stags (7-5-1) at Portland.

Anthony Russo of the Rams and Charlie Mull of Cheverus each had five saves. 

KENNEBUNK 4, WESTBROOK 1: Griffin Drigotas broke a 1-1 tie with a minute left in the first half, then scored twice more in the second to push the Rams (8-2-3) away from Westbrook (0-12-1) at Kennebunk.

Brett Goodnow’s goal from Owen Gillis gave the Blue Blazes a 1-0 lead. Sam Whelan’s goal from Dani Reyes-Cavallero tied it before Michael Ottman set up Drigotas.

Chris Hynes and Tyler Dolan had assists for Kennebunk.

John Burns made three saves for the Rams and Austin Blake made 11 for the Blazes. 

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Eddie Galvin, Griffin Thoreck, Eli Breed, Maam Fall and Cam Caswell scored for the Capers (6-5-1) against the Hawks (1-10-1) at South Hiram.

Brett Parker made seven saves for Cape Elizabeth.

Justin Stacey scored and Mike Pingree stopped seven shots for the Hawks. 

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, SANFORD 1: Darius Nytacyo scored on a penalty kick five minutes into the game, and Aaron Sinclair added a goal 10 minutes later as the Trojans (6-6) took a 2-0 lead against Sanford (0-12-1) at Saco.

Abbot McKay scored for the Spartans just before the half, but Eric Gooch reinstated the two-goal lead in the second half.

Zack Lombard had six saves for Thornton; Jimmy Parks and Tyler Burgess combined for six Sanford saves. 

YORK 8, WELLS 2: Fran Mendoza and Michael Gallagher each had two goals as the Wildcats (8-2-2) beat Wells (2-10) at York.

Theo Bullock, Zane Insko, Sean Horigan and Mitchell Hickey also scored, and Thomas Reid had three assists for York. Sam LaPointe and Daniel Quint scored for the Warriors. 

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 4, FREEPORT 2: Luka Modric took a through ball from Niko Mauer and scored on a breakaway to give the Raiders (5-5-3) a 3-2 lead against Freeport (2-9-2) in the second half at Fryeburg.

Christian DeMiranda scored off Joshua Rounds’ corner kick to make it 4-2. 

MARSHWOOD 6, BONNY EAGLE 2: Max McCoomb scored three times and Devon Gilbert twice as the Hawks (8-4-1) beat Bonny Eagle (2-11) at South Berwick.

Alex McLean added a goal and three assists for Marshwood. Valentin Sindlinger and Nick Gryskwicz scored for the Scots.

GIRLS’ SOCCER

BIDDEFORD 3, MCAULEY 1: Brooke Thompson scored twice for the Tigers (4-7-1) against McAuley (2-10-1) at Biddeford.

Carissa Gelinas also scored and Lexi Paquette had two assists for Biddeford. Maddie Wade scored a late goal for the Lions.

Olivia Curtis stopped 14 shots for the Tigers. Molly Miller had 13 saves for the Lions. 

GORHAM 7, NOBLE 0: Kali St. Germain had four goals and an assist as the Rams (10-3) beat Noble (1-12) at Gorham.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Haylee Cote scored from Kaelyn Woods midway through the second half and the Patriots (4-5-4) went on to tie the Hawks (5-4-3) at Gray.

Brooke Totman converted a penalty kick for Sacopee. 

WISCASSET 2, HALLDALE 0: Sara Hanly and Alecia Faulkingham scored second-half goals to lift Wiscasset (10-3-1) over the Bulldogs (8-5-1) at Farmingdale. 

POLAND 1, FALMOUTH 0: Emma Turton scored as the Knights (7-3-2) beat the Yachtsmen (9-2-1) at Poland.

Turton collected a through ball from Sarah Bolduc, beat two defenders on the left side and took an 18-yard shot from the middle that glanced off the right post and into the net.

Carolyn Lucas had four saves for Falmouth, which was forced to take long-distance shots against strong pressure by backs Sophie Spiller and Paxton Arsenault. 

YORK 4, WELLS 0: Kayla Swasey had two goals, and Shannon Todd added a goal and an assist as the Wildcats (7-4-1) handled the Warriors (1-10-1) at York.

Courtney Cole also scored and Maddie Patten made two saves for the shutout. 

WINDHAM 3, SANFORD 1: Jenna Soucy had a goal and an assist to help Windham (11-0-1) beat the Spartans (10-2) at Sanford.

Melissa Morton scored from Soucy and Ciera Bethiaume scored from Cassie Symonds for a 2-0 halftime lead. Hannah Kallis pulled Sanford within 2-1 before Soucy scored an unassisted goal. 

VINALHAVEN 5, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 2: Maddie Hallowell scored two goals as Vinalhaven (2-6) beat the Lions (0-9) at Portland.

Eliza Davidson, Ryann Morin and Bethany Candage also scored for the Vikings. Clarissa Jones and Kyrie Austin scored for the Lions. 

GREELY 2, YARMOUTH 1: Julia Mitiguy scored the winner unassisted as the Rangers (8-3-1) handled the Clippers (3-6-4) at Yarmouth.

After Tess Merrill scored for the Clippers, Isabelle Hutnak tied it when she redirected a corner kick from Leah Young.

FIELD HOCKEY

MASSABESIC 4, BONNY EAGLE 1: Alex Staples scored three goals as Massabesic (10-3-1) downed the Scots (3-9-2) at Standish.

Staples converted Abigail Staples’ assist for a 1-0 halftime lead. Jordan Ray tied it less than two minutes into the second half, but Staples scored twice more, then assisted on Jackie Guillemette’s goal. 

YORK 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Taylor Simpson had a goal and two assists for the Wildcats (10-3-1) against the Patriots (0-14) at York.

Sarah Panteleos had a goal and an assist, and Tori Stocks and Jenna Rumble also scored.
