The official influenza season is drawing to a close but some people are still seeking outpatient care for influenza. There were no deaths last week and the total number of deaths from influenza this season was 48. The actual number of deaths caused by the flu and secondary infections is probably much larger. In the last week there were 2 hospitalizations, bringing the season’s total to 1087.

The numbers of flu cases shown here are confirmed positive influenza tests.
