How long in real estate

I’ve been a REALTOR® for almost two years. After I graduated from the University of Maine (with a degree in environmental management policy, and a minor in economics) and earned a graduate certificate in community planning and development at the University of Southern Maine, I worked as a safety specialist at USM, and then as an HR coordinater/recruiter for a nonprofit.
I made the move into real estate because I was looking for a career that would appeal to my love of learning and relationship-building, and continuously challenge me.

A good fit

I absolutely love the world of real estate. It’s fast-moving and always changing, and I’m constantly developing new skills that I then find myself using daily.
At Locations, (co-owners) Edie Fontaine and Maureen Zemrak put client care first, and operate an agency where education is important and the community is tight-knit. The atmosphere is positive, there is always someone to offer help, and I’m working with highly knowledgable professionals I like and trust.

Buyers and sellers

This is definitely a fantastic market to sell in, as I know from working with sellers. I’m happy to also have the experience to guide buyers in this market. The key is strategizing and making strong offers to help buyers get the home they want.

Market base
My center is Greater Portland, but I also work in the Lakes Region and in Lewiston/Auburn. I’m happy to travel where my clients need me.

On Maine
My favorite areas include the midcoast, where we honeymooned, from Rockland up to Camden. I also really like Freeport for Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park and all of those walking trails.
