The cause of an early morning house fire in Windham is under investigation.
The fire broke out in a home at 203 Falmouth Road around 2:30 a.m. and heavy flames were showing from the second floor when fire crews arrived, according to WCSH.
A person inside the home was awakened by smoke detectors and was able to get out of the house safely.
Crews had the fire under control within 30 minutes and damage was contained to the second floor, fire Chief Brent Libby told WCSH. He said the fire does not appear suspicious.
