Two men from Brooklyn, New York, were charged Tuesday in connection with alleged drug trafficking in the Paris area, the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency said.

Dennis “Rocky” Roman, 36, was charged with two counts of trafficking a Schedule W drug for alleged distribution of heroin and crack cocaine.

Jose “Justa” Rivera, 24, was charged with violating bail conditions from a prior arrest related to cocaine and heroin, police said.

Roman was taken into custody at 2 Paris Hill Road in South Paris.

Inside the home, Maine Drug Enforcement agents found prepackaged cocaine and heroin worth $5,000, scales, packaging materials and $2,500 cash.

Police said the investigation continues and additional arrests are expected.
