Linda Valentino recently joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Prime Properties as a real estate broker. She formed the Valentino and Scamman Real Estate Team.
Valentino will be responsible for selling and marketing new homes in southern Maine. She was a state senator for 12 years, and prior to that she spent many years as a developer of subdivisions in southern Maine.
Magnusson Balfour Commercial and Business Brokers has hired Jeffrey Lapointe as a sales agent.
Lapointe brings experiences in public accounting for KPMG in New York City, and Price Waterhouse Coopers in Boston. Most recently, he purchased a commercial office space and a commercial laundry service in the Portland area. His understanding of the transition from corporate life to running a small business will prove to be invaluable in helping people making decisions to purchase commercial property.
Dot Ollier, a Realtor from the midcoast, has created the Dot Ollier Team as part of RE/MAX.
The team will include several talented real estate agents, a marketing writer and a graphic designer.

Shelly Clark was honored for two decades of service to the Maine Real Estate & Development Association.
Clark, of Portland, serves as the organization’s vice president of operations.
