A car crash in Cumberland caused delays on I-295 during the Monday morning commute.

The crash was reported in the area of mile 14 southbound in Cumberland around 7:30 a.m. State Police and other emergency vehicles cleared the scene before 9 a.m. and traffic flow returned to normal, according to public safety officials.

The vehicles were all on the right shoulder, but caused significant delays in the area during the morning commute, according to the Maine Turnpike Authority.
