Bach and friends on for Sunday Classical

THE PORTLAND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA welcomes the Choral Art Society for a performance of Bach’s “Sleepers, Wake!” as part of the PSO’s Sunday Classical series. Hugh Floyd, a PSO guest conductor, will lead the performance with Robert Russell, director of The Choral Art Society. In addition to Bach’s Cantata No. 140, the concert will open with Respighi’s Suite 1 from “Ancient Airs and Dances,” followed by Biber’s “Battalia” and a “Christmas Concerto” from Corelli.
