Invitational to help lead Greely to the team victory over 26 other schools. Her time was 18:58 on the hilly 5K course at Derryfield Park. Teammate Carolyn Todd finished third.

HONORABLE MENTION

Lily Posternak, York field hockey: The senior midfielder scored two goals in each of York’s three victories as the Wildcats extended their winning streak to 46 games with wins over Fryeburg Academy, Freeport and Falmouth.

Casey Perry, Marshwood soccer: The freshman striker scored a pair of goals in Marshwood’s 4-1 victory over Massabesic. Perry also had a goal and an assist in a 6-0 win over Westbrook.

Bella Libby, Falmouth field hockey: The senior forward scored as time expired in overtime to beat Yarmouth. Libby also had a goal in a 6-2 win over Poland as the Yachtsmen.

1082688_150102 AlexNickerson.jpgAlex Nickerson, York soccer: The junior forward scored a goal in a 3-0 win over Greely and also had an unassist-ed goal in a 2-1 win over Gray-New Gloucester.

HONORABLE MENTION

Jared Chisari, Fryeburg football: Chisari, a junior, rushed for 202 yards on 16 carries with TD runs of 77, 13, and 47 yards, and also returned a kickoff 84 yards for another score in a 53-14 win at Yarmouth.

Tucker Pierce, Maine Coast Waldorf cross country: Pierce, a senior, won his third race of the season in a four-school meet at Gray-New Gloucester. He ran the 5K in 17:33 – a half-minute faster than the next runner.

Noah Stracqualursi, Scarborough soccer: The senior striker led Scarborough to a 4-0 win over Cheverus with two goals and two assists. He also had a goal and two assists in a 9-1 win over Biddeford.
