Peter B. Farr
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Peter B. Farr, 87, of Newport News, Va., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025. Originally from Ocean Park, Maine, he had been a resident of Newport News, Va., for the past 10 years.
Peter was self-employed as a Quality Assurance Engineer and served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1956 to 1959. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol and the National Rifle Association, and he practiced the Protestant faith.
Peter was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Lorraine Farr.
He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Nichols, his sons Chris Farr and David Farr; seven grandchildren, Kyle, Rachel, Sarah, Joshua, Lydia Farr, and Hailey and Hope Nichols; a sister, Diane Tarbox, and two brothers, Stephen and Jonathan Farr.
