Roger Alan Corbett
PARIS – Roger Alan Corbett, 76, passed away on Sept. 14, 2025, in Paris, Maine. Born on Feb. 18, 1949, in Lewiston, Maine, Roger lived a life defined by his deep love for family, country, enduring friendships, and a remarkable ability to connect with people of all walks of life.
Roger proudly served in the United States Navy as an Airman from April 1966 to October 1969
Roger was an accomplished welder, mechanic, and bodyman. His hands were rarely still; he had a gift for fixing things and took pride in mastering a wide range of skills.
Whether it was restoring cars, tuning motorcycles, navigating rugged trails in a 4×4, or skimming across the water in a motorboat, Roger found joy in machines and motion. He generously shared his knowledge with others and became a mentor to many over the years-offering guidance In character and craft.
He had an innate ability to strike up conversations that turned into lifelong friendships. From his early days spent in Texas to his later years back home in Maine-and countless places along the way-he built lasting relationships that stood the tests of time.
Roger cherished his family. He is lovingly remembered by his son Corey; daughter Angela; grandchildren Michael, Connor, Zachary, and Katianna; great-grandson Wyatt; sister Debbie; niece Randi; and nephew Cale. His presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him best and loved him most.
He was preceded in death by his parents Erwin and Bobbie Corbett; brothers Terry and Michael.
His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched-with kindness, humor, wisdom, and unwavering loyalty.
Friends and family gathered to Celebrate Roger’s Life and share memories on Oct. 5, 2025, in West Paris, Maine.
