SOUTH PORTLAND – Frank Moore, 83, of South Portland, passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 4, 2025. He was born in Plainfield, NJ, on Dec, 12, 1941, the son of Frank Calvin Moore Sr. and Lucy Moore.

Frank worked at H.P. Hood in the shipping department for over 30 years until his retirement. He was a hardworking and devoted family man who found joy in simple pleasures like camping trips, watching horror movies, watching his grandchildren play sports, and cheering on his favorite teams, the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and the Seadogs.

He is survived by his loving wife, Caryll (Beal) Moore of South Portland; his son, Michael Moore and daughter-in-law Anne of Kennebunk; and his cherished grandchildren, Emily, Kate, and Matthew. He is also survived by his brother, Howard Moore of Florida.

Frank was predeceased by his son Brian, his daughter, Rhonda and his sister Sylvia.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025, at Brooklawn Memorial Park Cemetery, 2002 Congress Street, Portland.
