Martha (Ruppel) Dzialo

ARUNDEL – Martha Ruppel Dzialo passed away on Sept. 21, 2025, at the age of 73.

She was born on Oct. 18, 1951 in New York City, N.Y., to the late Harry and Louise Ruppel. She was raised in Douglaston Manor, N.Y. and Sharon, Conn.

Her commitment to the education of children of Lyman, including being elected to multiple terms as a school board member of SAD 57. Martha worked in hospitals in Connecticut, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Maine She retired from Laboratory Billing Services, in Saco.

Martha is survived by her husband of 48 years, Raymond; daughter, Krystyna Dzialo and husband Raymond Vallee, Jr. of Hallowell, son, Benjamin and wife Carla Dzialo of Bayville, N.Y.; and her seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Kathleen Reidy, Sara Currier, Louise Pagano, and her brother, Michael Ruppel and his wife Debbie; along with many nieces and nephews.

Martha will be remembered for her love and commitment to family and community.

A celebration of Martha’s life will be held on Nov. 16, from 12 to 3 p.m. at Joseph’s by the Sea, Old Orchard Beach.
