Larry B. Coffin
BRUNSWICK – Larry B. Coffin, 84, of Brunswick, passed away Sunday Oct. 12, 2025, at his daughter’s home after a long illness.
He was born in Brunswick, on Aug. 23, 1941, to Beulah and Carroll Coffin. He has lived in Brunswick his entire life and married Thelma Coffin of Brunswick on June 29, 1963.
He was a sweet, funny man who always wanted to see people smile and laugh. He was a caring and loving husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was an extremely hard worker his whole life. He worked for 30 years at Ernie’s Drive Inn as a cook then another 22 years for the Brunswick School Department as a custodian at the high school. He was loved by many. There was never a picture of him where he wasn’t smiling. He loved reading books, and watching his favorite shows, The First 48 and Lone Star Law.
Larry is survived by his sisters Gail Richardson and Fay Hart of Brunswick; his daughters, Tammy Osgood of Augusta, Judy Rumbaugh of Martinez, Ga.; Donna Gray of Bath; Candy Kwasniak of Richmond; and his adopted daughter Leah Nayudu. He is predeceased by his wife Thelma Coffin; son Randy Hughes and adopted son Michael Coffin.
Larry’s Memorial Service will be held at Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, on Oct. 25, 2025, at 10 a.m., followed by a graveside service at 11:15 a.m., at Riverside Cemetery on River Road in Brunswick.
Arrangements and guidance are in the care of Stetson’s Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 12 Federal Street, Brunswick, Maine.
