Evan Kimble of Camden Hills edged the Messalonskee duo of Greyson Dooley and Liam McFadden to win medalist honors in the KVAC Class A golf qualifier Tuesday in Vassalboro.

Kimble shot 75, one better than Dooley and three ahead of McFadden.

Dooley and McFadden helped the Eagles win the team title and a spot in the Class A state championship. They were joined by Trent Bell (83) and Gavin Jackson (90) as the Eagles finished with a score of 327.

Hampden Academy (331), Edward Little (335) and Camden Hills (336) also qualified.

Hampden’s Sawyer Worcester (79) and Edward Little’s Cole Levesque (81) rounded out the top five individually.

Skowhegan’s Eddie Goff was the lone player in the top 10 to qualify as an individual by shooting an 82.

Also for Hampden, Wyatt Allen shot 83, Colby Pangburn had a 84 and Brady Tiensivu was at 85. For Edward Little, Carson Veilleux shot 82, Hayden Avery 83 and Owen Robertson 89.

KVAC B QUALIFIER: Caden Chretien shot 2-under 70 to finish second and help Nokomis win the team title at the KVAC Class B golf qualifier at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalaboro.

Nokomis finished with a score of 319. Lincoln Academy (338), Medomak Valley (343), Belfast (344) and Leavitt (349) also qualified for the Class B state championship, which will take place Friday at Natanis.

Gardiner’s Jack Quinn, the defending Class B champion, took medalist honors with a 69.

Also scoring for Nokomis were SJ Welch (76), Jeff Christie (85) and Daegan Trafton (88). 

Drew Nichols shot a 79 to lead Lincoln. Also for the Eagles, Max Blake shot 84, Reed Prentice 87 and Dylan Lomas 88.

Joseph Wilcox (81), Mason Nguyen (82), Micah Fagonde (85) and Kollin Donlin (95) scored for Medomak Valley. Finn Holmes led Belfast with an 80, while teammates Gabe Warren, Jason Thurston and Landon Gray all shot 88.

Medomak Valley took third place, just one shot ahead of Belfast. The Panthers’ lowest scorer was Joseph Wilcox (81), followed by Mason Nguyen (82), Micah Fagonde (85), and Kollin Donlin (95). Finn Holmes led the Lions with an 80, while teammates Gabe Warren, Jason Thurston and Landon Gray all shot an 88.

Leavitt secured the final spot, beating Gardiner, the 2024 state champion, by one shot. Morgan Folsom (83), Thomas Pratt (83), James Brisson (89) and Reed Hallowell (94) scored for Leavitt.

Jonny Johnston of Morse finished third individually with a 75.

Other individual qualifiers were Lawrence’s Trenton Paquette (85), Waterville/Winslow’s Jack Flaherty (86), Morse’s Cam McCarren (86), Gardiner’s Brady Peacock (87), Oceanside’s Aiden Willis (88) and Spruce Mountain’s Evan Hamilton (89).

CHEVERUS 1, GORHAM 0: Joey Pompeo scored off a corner with 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter, and the Stags (9-0-1) shut out the Rams (5-6) in Gorham.

Eva Wandell made 10 saves for Gorham.

KENNEBUNK 2, PORTLAND/DEERING 0: Maddie Barron and Eliza Nass scored for the Rams (3-7-1) against Portland/Deering at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Emma Walsh made 37 saves for Portland. Faith Flynn needed just one save for the win.

NOKOMIS 4, MORSE 0: Makenzie Watson and Maeve Rush scored in the first half, and Annie Nyce finished off two penalty corners in the fourth quarter as the Warriors (9-2) pulled away from the Shipbuilders (2-7) in Newport.

TRAIP ACADEMY 8, SACOPEE VALLEY 1: Jacqueline Diallo had two goals and six other players scored for the Rangers (6-3) against the Hawks (0-8) in Kittery.

Marlee Mickle, Phebe Schroeck, Harper Malmquist, Shea Johnson, Caroline Guay and Lucy Gingras each netted a goal.

Sarah Cox scored for the Hawks.

NYA 3, WAYNFLETE 1: Ellie Seely had three goals an an assist to lift the Panthers (7-2) past the Flyers (3-6) in Yarmouth.

Lily Fortin also scored, while Katie Berard and Alicia Fontana each had an assist for NYA. Panthers keeper Jordan Nash stopped two shots.

Naomi Rice scored and Rachel Yordon made six saves for Waynflete.

CAPE ELIZABETH 8, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Noelle Mallory had three goals and two assists for the Capers (9-0) in a win over the Patriots (1-7-2) in Gray.

Addie Miller, Alexa Mallory, Hailey Gorman, Alynn Wallent and Alice DeGeorge also scored, and GG Sprague had an assist.

Kelsie Law and Lucy Backman each made one save for Cape Elizabeth. Mallory Hardiman stopped three shots for Gray-New Gloucester.

LAKE REGION 4, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Helena Sheldrick tallied three goals and Abbi Nadeau also scored as the Lakers (5-4) handled the Seagulls (1-9) in Old Orchard Beach.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 9, OCEANSIDE 1: Scarlett Flint recorded four goals and an assist, Haylee Chandler had a goal and four assists, and the Panthers (8-0-1) handled the Mariners (1-8) in Waldoboro.

Summer Staples scored twice an Rachel Richardson had a goal and an assist.

YARMOUTH 1, FREEPORT 0: Lauren Jabar scored from Keira Cowans 26 seconds into the game to lift the Clippers (8-3) past the Falcons (6-4) in Freeport. 

Karleigh Costello made fives saves for Freeport, while Julia Soelberg stopped three shorts for Yarmouth.

GREELY 4, POLAND 1: Lili Pierce scored twice, and Avery Bush added a goal and two assists as the Rangers (6-3) downed the Knights (9-2) in Cumberland.

Sami Santerre also scored for Greely, assisted by Abby Collins. Bush’s goal was set up by Tess Waterhouse.

Olivia Lemieux had the goal for Poland.

SCARBOROUGH 5, WESTBROOK 2: Khalil Ghosheh had two goals, Connor Casey, Alexander Jordan and Brady Moreau also scored, and the Red Storm (8-0) downed the Blue Blazes (5-4) in Westbrook.

Ryan Shugars stopped eight shots for Scarborough.

Mechac Boyilimpo and Justin Filiatrault scored for Westbrook. Isaac Crabtree stopped 11 shots and Sam Luanika made two saves.

SANFORD 4, MASSABESIC 1: Kane Tierney and Gavin Hebler each scored twice, and the Spartans (2-6-1) downed the Mustangs (0-8) in Sanford.

KENNEBUNK 1, WINDHAM 0: Levi Christopher headed in a feed from Clark Abrahamsen midway through the first half, and the Rams (5-4) shut out the Eagles (3-5-1) in Windham.

Griffin Whitney made five saves for the Rams, while Tate Robinson stopped three shots for Windham.

BONNY EAGLE 2, THORNTON ACADEMY 2: Arlo Libby scored both goals for Bonny Eagle (3-6-1), and David Moyemade and Ephraim Mambueni answered for the Trojans (5-3-1) in a tie in Saco.

Wesley Stepp and Charlie Lamey combine for eight saves for Thornton, while Asa Proctor stopped 11 shots for Bonny Eagle.

SOUTH PORTLAND 2, FALMOUTH 1: Israel Ditanduka and Casey Corcoran each had a goal for the Red Riots (6-2) against the Navigators (9-1) in South Portland.

GORHAM 3, BIDDEFORD 2: Moritz Deppner had two goals and an assist to lift the Rams (9-1) past the Tigers (4-4-1) in Biddeford.

Sawyer Wheaton also scored and Moises Ntango had an assist for Gorham. Rams keeper Corbin Wilson made six saves.

Joao Andre and Alexandre Keto scored for Biddeford.

EDWARD LITTLE 4, MT. ARARAT 2: Khalid Mohamed scored twice and set up a goal as the Red Eddies (3-4-2) defeated the Eagles (5-4-1) in Topsham.

Mudasir Hassan chipped in with a goal and an assists, and Orrin Slover also scored for Edward Little.

Mt. Ararat got goals from Luke Anderson and Jack Martin.

GREELY 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Annabelle Talley had 13 kills, three aces, two blocks and 10 digs to lead the Rangers (7-3) past the Capers (5-4) in Cape Elizabeth.

Greely won by scores of 25-13, 25-13, 25-19. Maddie Croteau added four kills, three aces and 11 assists, while Kylie Greco had five aces and eight assists. 

MARSHWOOD 3, SANFORD 0: Nellie Young had 16 kills, Brynn Folger recorded 24 assists, and the Hawks (6-5) swept the Spartans (4-7) in Sanford, 25-16, 25-20 and 25-22.

Lucy Beck collected five aces, Renee St. Pierre had five blocks, and Kylie Folger made 16 digs for the Hawks.

GORHAM 3, CHEVERUS/GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN/WAYNFLETE 2: Lauren Dunbar had 12 kills, Luna Button added 11 kills and Liana Edwards had 30 assists as the Rams (9-2) beat the Stags (8-2) in Gorham. 

Ady Hutchins contributed five aces for Gorham.
