MYSTIC, Conn. and SOUTH PORTLAND – Angela Shirley (Karantza) Plummer, 99, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful member of the Greek Orthodox Church, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Sept. 11, 2025. Her life was defined by love, service, and unwavering faith. Angela found great joy in caring for others, whether through her warm presence at church, her culinary skills, or her ability to bring people together during holidays and special gatherings.

She was married to the love of her life, Bernard “Pete” L. Plummer, for 61 wonderful years. Together they built a strong and loving family, raising their two daughters, Margerett “Peggy” Beale and Sandra L. Plummer.

Angela’s greatest happiness came from her family, whether baking and cooking for them, spending cherished time together at the family camp in Maine, or keeping traditions alive, especially at Christmas. She also took pride in maintaining her household, creating a home filled with love, warmth, and laughter.

Angela is survived by her daughters Peggy and Sandra; her beloved grandchildren, Jeff Beale, Nicholas Beale, Christopher Tilley, and David Tilley; and her younger sister, Betty Moustrouphis.
