A man was fatally struck by car while walking on a road in Lyman on Sunday, the York County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies responded to the area of Alfred Road around 2 p.m. Dominic Small, 28, of Lyman, was walking East on Alfred Road when a Ford Focus driven by a 37-year-old man from Old Orchard beach hit him.
Small was transported to Maine Medical Center in Portland, but died en route, the sheriff’s office said in a news release Sunday evening.
The crash is still under investigation, the sheriff’s office said. The Kennebunk Police Department is reconstructing the crash.
