Richard George Cloutier
EAST WATERBORO – Richard George Cloutier passed away at Mercy Hospital on Sept. 10, 2025 at the age of 79. He was born on July 26, 1946 and grew up in Lewiston.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Jason Cloutier and his wife Cristie Cloutier, Erik Cloutier and his wife Laurie Cloutier; and his five grandchildren, Nicole Anser, Troy Cloutier, Adam Cloutier, Sarah Cloutier and Luke Cloutier.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Doris Cloutier. Richard and Doris were married in 1969 and shared a beautiful life together filled with memories that will live on forever.
Richard served in the Marines for four years and is an honorable Vietnam Veteran. He spent his 40-year career as a professional tractor-trailer truck driver.
Richard loved to work with his hands, there was no project too big or too small. Over the years, he and his two sons built his beautiful home as well as each of theirs. Working together, sharing his knowledge and in turn, building memories that will remain in our hearts forever.
Richard enjoyed working in his vegetable gardens and was passionate about helping his sons and his grandchildren create their own gardens. He loved his family and cherished every moment he spent with them. Watching golf and football on Sundays was a tradition we all loved. He was a selfless and giving man and would do anything for anyone who needed his help.
Richard’s legacy of love, integrity, and generosity will endure through the many lives he touched. We will always carry his memory in our hearts.
At Richard’s request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
