BOCA RATON, Fla. – Leo John Scopino, Jr., 78, passed away on August 31, 2025, in Boca Raton, Fla. Born on April 27, 1947, in Hialeah, Fla., Leo lived a life marked by dedication to service, deep family ties, and a spirited personality that left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Leo proudly served his country in the United States Navy, stationed in Rhode Island. Beyond his professional life, Leo had a passion for collecting. He was an avid admirer of Frank Frazetta’s artwork and took great joy in curating collections of coins and baseball cards. He also enjoyed playing softball, embracing both the camaraderie and competition of the game.

Leo was known for his generous heart and unwavering love for those around him. Though he could be a self-proclaimed “pain in the butt,” it was always with a twinkle in his eye and a spirit that brought laughter and warmth to every room he entered.

May Leo’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a reminder of a life lived with heart, humor, and unwavering devotion.
